Job Description

Junior/ Entry Level Candidates with CAD Design and SolidWorks

No C2C or 3rd party candidates will be considered

100% onsite in Vista

Contract to Hire; looking to get started ASAP and then being brought on Full Time the end of 2026

Target pay is $28-$33 per hour W2

Role Overview

  • CAD Engineer, junior/entry-level, contract-to-hire
  • Looking for someone "green and hungry" who can be trained and developed into FTE
  • Fully onsite role


Team Structure

  • Reports into/works closely with:
  • Don, Mechanical CAD Designer
  • Lead Engineer
  • Regular interaction with Sales and Systems teams (plumbers, electricians, installers)


Company / Work

  • Builds water systems for residential, medium, and large commercial customers
  • Recently received a high volume of large system orders
  • Has been wanting to add a CAD resource for some time


Responsibilities

  • Assist engineers with CAD drawings
  • Support design work for larger system builds
  • Help with general CAD-related tasks as needed
  • Cross-functional collaboration with engineering, sales, and field teams


Additional Notes on Candidate Profile

  • Entry-level CAD background
  • Motivated to learn and grow in CAD/design career
  • Ideally based in North County (commute is a factor for ownership)
  • Looking for a long-term opportunity to build a career
  • Comfortable working fully onsite


Work Environment

  • Located on 2nd floor, stairs only (no elevator)
  • PPE required (provided)
  • Safety shoes required (voucher provided)

  • 2 onsite interviews
  • CAD assessment/test in between
